Ok, I was aware that embedding fonts was possible. The whispers of the development crossed my RSS feed on more than one occasion. I was asleep at the wheel. I never got around to trying it out myself until today with the help of the magnificent Typekit. Let me be clear. This changes everything for everyone that designs for the web experience. There have been workarounds and hacks for sure but this represents a new level of maturity for web design – a purity of content and form working together in economy in the service of communication.

The screenshot above was my first test just to see it in action. The typeface is Meta.
